You do understand that tanking and signing Aaron Rodgers are not necessarily mutually exclusive things, right?

Facts dude. Aaron Rodgers isn't saving this team lol. You can still suck with him at QB.

I don’t think the Saints in their current condition is his dream landing spot

I agree. Just start Rattler and that should put us in a good draft pick next year. Unless we get Jameis back! lol

What would be the point?

All you do is get a guy with a bad attitude that blames his team mates. We could just have Carr yell at the guys from the sideline for that.

You dont get to see what you have in Rattler (I don't think he is that guy but I can't say definitely)

There really is no upside to being bad and having Rodgers. He's not bad enough to get you a top pick if that's what you want either.

I'd welcome the insanity of that.

Loomis dumbass would sign him 2 years 150 million, then add 4 dummy years to spread the cap hit out after Rodgers retired. Is that really a ride y'all want to go down AGAIN? Where are stuck with a massive cap hit for years after a player is gone?

And y'all know that's the kind of shite Loomis would do

... and even if he did I have a suspicion he would let it be known he is not interested in playing for the Saints.

Those days are over. The new TV deals mean that every franchise turns a profit, spends the entire cap, and is run like a multi billion dollar company. That was not the case when Eli was drafted.

If KM thinks Sanders is his young qb he is looking for then I would rather let him draft him.

But honestly, I would bring in free agent, Teddy "two gloves" Bridgewater. Let Rattler or Teddy play this season and try for a QB next year.

But please stay away from Rodgers.

Whatever you think of Rodgers' play last year, you have to admit that it's logical to assume he will be worse next year. He's over 40, and his arm could fall off a cliff at any day.

If we sign him, we're tanking next year, intentionally or not.

Nah. We’d end up winning 4-6 games.

He may be a bit worse but he’d still be a top 20ish qb and win a few more extra games. He could be 50 years old and still throw a nice deep ball. He has one of the best pure arms of all time.
