She also would have moved the team and when she burned it all to the ground.

Old Man Tom was going to move the teams as will the next owner who will not be a NOLA apologist.

As Rita has shown she can be a bit crazy, maybe the grandson Ryan would’ve been the best choice.

I don’t know a damn thing about him except he has the lineage and his LinkedIn page shows he likes deer hunting and owns automotive and loan sharking interests in San Antonio, which indicates some P&L experience (better than Gayle).

If Ryan had sided with Paw Paw in the Gayle/Rita dispute he’d likely be an NFL owner today in his 30s, and Mickey, DA, Dumars, etc would’ve never happened.

And the person that stopped him from doing that is Gayle so we’re much better off with her owning the team, thanks for clearing that up.

ETA Tagliabue was a big factor in keeping the Saints in NOLA

No, Gayle was following Tom’s wishes back then. Tagliabue stopped the move realizing it would be an awful look post Katrina.

Today’s NOLA is far worse, see another horrible metric as the worst real estate market in the US:

I’d rather see the Saints win elsewhere than lose in NOLA. A new progressive owner helps the cause, think Saints first city second.

My loyalty is to the New Orleans Saints. I’m old enough to remember going to Jazz games in the Dome, i don’t give a shite about Utah and if the Saints move my fandom ends.

This report is depressing and not sustainable for pro sports in NOLA. We’re in the death spiral:

You know economic downturns have been known to end? Certainly bad news for the present but doesn’t necessarily mean it’s permanent

NOLA is no “H Town” and you probably left Louisiana because the economy is always poor here.

The new Shell Gulf operations in the convention center area will be the first Class A office space built in NOLA since 19frickin89!

Ever see a construction crane in NOLA? The Feds gifted the city post Katrina one of largest stimulus support in American history and the city is dying 20 years later because of loves woke Morial and Latoya types.

Moreno will not issue a business renaissance, she is a more polished less jet setting Latoya.

She was definitely a drunk when she was still involved with the team and it would not surprise me if she was using the nose candy as well.
