quote:Jesus, this story is crazy.
Will Smith's death may not have been a random act, Cardell Hayes apparently did security for saints. NOPD is holding a presser at 1:15

yeah more than meets the eye on this one.
still insanely tragic, but seeming to be less random

If there's more than random violence, the charge needs to be upgraded to 1st degree murder.

The wife? Kill Smith and she gets a superficial wound as cover?
He thought it was just another evening out with friends and family...then a car accident that went wrong fast...but was it an accident?

yeah starting to be a bit too much connection for it to have been a random act.

The lead investigator in Smith's case, Bruce Bruggeman, is 1 of the detectives the A&E show "The First 48" follows. If they're filming right now this could end up being an episode on that show

Man, this truly breaks my heart. It's a beautiful day, but I just can't take my mind off of it. Prayers for the family.

Not random at all. Not when all these parties are tied together in one way or another. Something smells here.....

I believe I was the first person who kind of sniffed something weird about this, for the record.

There were 6 cops sued by the shooters family and it was 10 years ago. The cop who was with PT and Smith wasn't even one of the cops who shot the father. I'd say the shooter couldn't even identify the cop. Just a coincidence IMO.
