This is unbelievably sad to watch.

It was a great run. Best HC and QB in Saints history. Loomis tried desperately to hold on. He did what he’s always done: gone all in, again.

But it’s over. Instead of going with a total change, bring in new blood…he went stale. Tried to keep it going.

But once the geniuses are gone, you’re left with mediocre. And that’s what we are. At best.

No first round pick and they won’t fire DA after one year.

So we have another year of this and then: rebuild.

Yeah the roster is elite but if we don’t make a complete overhaul to the coaching staff we will waste it all.

If this team is as mediocre as you say, one middle of the pack first round pick wouldn't change anything.

They need to draft a qb this past draft.

We had an elite team, but a Commissioner that wouldn’t allow us to win out.

I was going to put 2020 but I figured several people would bitch incessantly since CSP was still here in 2021.

Should have known it doesn’t matter

16 years. 5 7-9 (one without SP), 1 8-8, and last year was 7-8 after 16 games beating two really bad teams to finish 9-8.

Nearly half those seasons were mediocre to bad. Undoubtedly the beset run in Saints history but let's not talk about it like it was some dominant era of uninterrupted playoff qualifying or even winning season.

Still, this looks bad.
