He is 10-9 in 19 starts in an era where the Redskins absolutely suck.

Look at the record of all the other QB’s they have started.

I’m not willing to call him a “franchise guy”

But true “journeymen backups” don’t go 10-9 on horrible teams.

This is just not true. Drew called blocking assignments, rerouted WRs, called the audibles. Not to mention knew how to throw guys open and threw quickly....fast release. I get it. Drew is HOF'er, but a good QB can still make an average team good.

Please tell me what kind of offense we run… what’s our scheme?

We don’t have one! Watching our offense is like watching a 13 year old play madden. It’s like we just pick random plays to run without worrying about any type of rhythm or gameplan or anything like that. One QB isn’t gonna fix that unless it’s that brady guy or mahomes.

not. Had they lost last night, would you be singing his praises as a "franchise guy?" He's a journeyman 29 year old backup at best.

You negative Nancys can say what you want but to be a better than avg QB in the NFL you have to be able to make a play on your own when shite breaks down, and this guy can do that better than all those dildos I listed out.

You clearly do not follow the NFL closely is you think Heinicke is the answer. There is a reason that he is 29 and is a backup to Wentz on a bad team.

Taysom can't throw the ball

Not sure about that one, watched Dalton's throws on replays and they were all wobbling, the one pass taysom threw was a perfect spiral. Same result though, both missed their target

If that was a stud game, what do you call a real game like when someone throws for 400+ yards and 3+ touchdowns? Pump the brakes lil fella!

Keep suckin on Andys tit baw.

Heinicke isn't super talented but he's a leader and like you said, doesn't back down.

his teammates definitely respond to him.

He is 29 years old and has played for 3 teams and has had 19 starts in his entire career. He is a backup to Wentz. He is a journeyman backup QB. There is 0% chance that he is the answer for our QB woes. It is laughable that it is even being talked about.

I’m not even sure anyone said to go get Taylor. The thread was saying you can possibly find serviceable, winning Qb’s in other ways than drafting them in the first rd.
