Whoa Momma was a huge bust. Oh Brudder never turned out like we hoped he would. On the other hand Gee Whiz was a pleasant surprise.

I remember the 49'rs game in the dome when he was interim head coach. Renaldo Turnbull leaving the field in the middle of the game. Ofcourse. Steve Young did fumble but the REFs sad he was down....BS....

I always felt like Venturi got a raw deal since he did not have anything to work with on the field

Venturi was a excellent coach. The guy wouldn't have lasted as long as he did unless he had skills.

I can't entirely blame Venturi as he was handicapped by Haslett's schizophrenic treatment of the base scheme and the roster
