Hopefully the mini bye helped Davis heal up as well. I have to believe he's been playing when he probably shouldn't have out of obligation.

Did anybody see any of that chargers game last night against the Cardinals?
I saw where they lost. I was just wondering how they looked overall
I just ended up watching Baltimore and Tampa Bay and then called it a night.

Their offense looked like shite from what I gather

Didn’t look great but we’ll probably be their get right game.

I imagine they will run for 250 plus yards on us.

Carr throwing.
McCoy back for rams at latest.
- underhill
...
Big game this week. Win it, and the saints could be back in the division race

They couldn't run the ball for anything which killed them in the redzone. With that said, Herbert looked sharp considering he was throwing to Ladd and Will Dissly.

Yay! Then we can suck fully staffed.

bruh, just stop... you damn well KNOW this team ain't doing shite, even if they get to the playoffs...
i know it's not what anyone wants to hear, and i hate saying it, but the best route for us going forward, is to tank this season, get as high a draft pick as we can get, and start taking on rookie contracts, shedding old bloated contracts, get right with the cap, and press forward that way...
our window has been shut for quite a few years now, and it's not opening any time soon if we continue doing the status quo that we've done since Brees' last few years

You're literally saying exactly what everyone else says here.
Sorry if I wanna enjoy games this season. If having a chance of winning a championship is the only way you can enjoy games, how the hell are you a saints fan? Football isn't that serious to me; it's just a nice past time. When they lose, I flush it and hope for better on the next one.

Just in time to go 9-7, miss the playoffs, and get a middle of the pack draft pick.
As it is written.

If Allen can get to 10-7, I'd bring him back. I'm thinking more 7-10 right now with a new HC.

The Saints will change up the secondary:

The New Orleans Saints shook up their secondary Tuesday as they placed cornerback Paulson Adebo on injured reserve, released Johnathan Abram from the practice squad, and brought back safety Roderic Teamer and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles.
Saints coach Dennis Allen previously ruled Adebo out for the season after the cornerback broke his femur in last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos. But Abram’s release comes as a mild surprise. Though the safety wasn’t on the active roster, he had played a key part in filling in for starter Will Harris, who is on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
quote:
Abram, a former first-round pick with the Raiders, appeared in 12 games across two seasons with the Saints. This season, he played more than 60% of the snaps in his first two appearances before his role was significantly reduced last game. Abram played only 11 snaps against the Broncos, with second-year safety Jordan Howden getting the start opposite Tyrann Mathieu.
quote:
Teamer and Jean-Charles rejoin the practice squad after spending time with the team previously. Teamer, a fifth-year veteran who played 40 games with the Raiders, spent training camp with the Saints and was in the mix to make the final roster. Jean-Charles, in his fourth season, played three games for the Saints last year and has spent time on the practice squad

In addition to the secondary shake up, the Saints also announced the signing of wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and released guard Chris Reed from the practice squad.

Only two games back and we play everyone in the division again.
I’ll give it two more weeks..

The Saints are still being coached by Dennis Allen so that news means very little.

The Saints just lost 5 in a row. In what world do you think they'll be able to not only win but "get back in it?"
