If he stayed healthy for 16 games and had at least 15 to 18 touches a game he would have at least 9 games of 100 all purpose yards.

OPINION!

So you're telling me teams won't perk their ears up at a guy who can potentially run a 4.2? You're deceiving yourself.

See how fast you can be when you don't run side to side and dance, Reggie? Think about it

That took all of one response.

Here we go. The same complaints over and over again.

I am fresh off of watching Reggie return punts from the Saints/Falcons game last season and I can tell you that you are all wrong.

Name me one punt returner that can run straight up the middle once a catch is made and a defender is barreling towards you? It's in the job description to make a move or two then turn it up field. Saints don't have their PR team set up to do that many times.

Also, Reggie is put in straight up the middle running situations very infrequently because that is not the type of back he is. So he gets put on the outside. Guess what your job is there? To make a move or two and get behind a screen. He does this pretty effectively. If the blocking is there.

You guys think you know everything about this person and this team but you don't.

I called the RB pick when you guys were yeah right, GTFO.

So DEAL WITH IT!

You know how it goes man.

he's pretty average at making 1 to 2 moves in the NFL...not bad, hardly spectacular but average...as evidenced by his 7.5 yd career punt return avg

still holds the saints record for PR TD's and has the NFL record for Pr TD's in a game. Average though

The pick you called was Cam Jordan not Mark Ingram.

Good stuff man. I love the punt return argument, never heard it explained that way before.

and the "deal with it" remark... kaboom!

I'm a Reggie fan, but you are just being naive. 90% of his returns usually end up in zero or negative yards. He always tries to go for the homerun instead of what's given to him. That's what drives most of us nuts about him. Theres not one rational person who would honestly say he's come close to what everyone thought he would be.

you do realize his game against minnesota was against the absolutely worst special teams unit in nfl history??? imbeing serious. the worst special teams unit to ever play in nfl history. besides that game he has been below average as a returner.

you mean him and the other FOURTEEN guys?

for a number 2 overall pick it's nice to see him have SOME record. In 5 seasons he has

averaged
6.6
4.8
13.5 (one game brought this up an insane amount)
4.0
7.7

He has 4 TDs
5 40+ yard returns
5 FUMBLES...including the big one

not bad but for a number 2 overall pick who doesn't contribute as a running back you'd think he'd do a good bit more.
