Because by the rules it was a terrible call.

I don't know what part of that you don't understand. Wake up.

Oh really? What rule was broken?

The rules experts said it was a bad call so I'd be interested as to what rule myself and the experts are unaware of?

Prohibited contact against a player who is in a defenseless posture is:

1)forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder, even if the initial contact is lower than the player’s neck, and regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him

When umpires change the strike zone

And they do not year to year but game to game.

If you’re a HC, DC, player, or fan and you don’t adjust to the calls made on the field

That have been happening not this week

But for several years now

You are stoooopiddd

He wasn't defenseless. Defenseless is more than 2 steps. 1 step was taken.

You can't apply a defenseless rule if defenseless definition isn't met.

Ok man. Wanting to apply the rules as they are written is stoooooopid or whatever stupid misspelled insult you want to use.

We will just apply whatever "rule" the ref of the day wants to call. No clarity of rules is needed. Just call whatever you want whenever based on feeling I guess.

Yes

What matters is how the officials are making the calls

And the refs are instructed to make the calls the way they are doing.

If it was one bad call every once in awhile

I would agree with you.

But it’s not

It’s how they are calling the game now.
This didn’t happen today or yesterday or last year.

So you’re going to continue to hit QBs

And you’re going to continue to get personal fouls

(And don’t get me started on targeting)

And you’re going to continue to complain

I give up

Let’s make an even trade, they can keep these roughing the passer calls as they have it, but any throw, regardless if outside the tackle box or not, if it doesn’t come within 6 inches of a receiver, it’s intentional grounding.

This is the point in the game where flags will start falling.
