Reason 105 that we should hire a new coach next year

There is literally no one that is a FA that is worth bringing back next season. If we use the trade deadline to get off of Ruiz, Werner, Reid or Granderson, you are going to give a new head coach a bunch of cap space, no FAs from the team that are worth resigning, and potential franchise cornerstones in Shough, Olave, Banks and Young. This may be the best opening in the NFL this offseason for a quick turn around.

Maybe a good time to get Young extended and paid if there’s no reason to pay big money chasing other FA’s currently on the roster. I would be happy to keep some of those guys but only on team friendly deals. Everyone except for Granderson should be easily replaced.

I'm thinking Granderson is going to want way too much money. I don't think we can pay two guys at end market value

Don't forget a potential last place schedule again next season.
It could definitely be a quick turn around with the right coach and front office changes. So, I expect that we'll do neither.

Doesn't always mean shite. Remember the Saints & Atlanta went into this season with 2 of the easier schedules. Through 7 games, the 5 most difficult schedules:
Miami: .589
Atl: .567
NE: .555
Saints: .548
NYJ & Chi: .541
