Deserves got nothing to do with it. If Shough sucks and folds under pressure it would be awful to pull him out and put Rattler in. Rattler will start and if he sucks Shough will come in and start the rest of the year.
I don't see any reason Shough starts over Rattler. I don't care about upside or whatever, Rattler is the starting QB at this moment. We wont see back to back WR screens in a game. I'm hoping we will see a different offense week 1.
