it's hard to rank drafts by just guys drafted, i feel nowadays you almost need to include your UDFA's cause these guys are sought and fought over more so than draft picks. We've had a bunch of great udfa pick ups in various years.

Tim Lelito
Khiry Robinson

if ya start including UDFAs ya have to do it for every year. PT23, Galette, Charleston, Dunbar, Hartley, etc. Easier with just draftees IMO

there's a ton more of UDFAs. 2006 alone- Jamaal Branch, Keith Joseph, Weatherford. Then do ya count Lance Moore who still had rookie status even tho he went to the Browns camp in '05 as an UDFA? Same thing like Hartley. If you are ranking "drafts" it should only include drafted players IMO.

I think he missed that season mostly.
Then got injured again and missed the next preseason, if I recall correctly.

He did still have rookie status and had never been on an NFL regular roster tho. If ya wanna call it rank the Saints offseason instead of drafts, fine. Ya might as well include every free agent signing as well in that case.

UDFA's are a part of the draft. Gems are sought and fought over. Saints did not sign Lance as an UDFA post his eligible draft. You're trying to make this more difficult than necessary.
