1. Mahomes has a terrible game, tosses 2-3 INT and loses to the Rams, thus getting talking heads off his jock for the MVP race and helping Brees’ case.
2. Mahomes goes off with 4 TDs and no picks, beats the Rams, giving the Saints a full game and a half lead in the race for #1 Seed?

FWIW, I’d absolutely rather the Rams loss as well.
But damn, a bad week for Mahomes right after Brees put on another dominant performance on national TV would be a nice boost to his MVP case.
