why why why wont payton just give this guy the keys to the running game and let sproles be the change of pace? Pt has been the most dependable back for this team for like 5 years now. He has measured up with the best in the league in every facet of the game. Give the man his touches. It should be a crime that this guy did not get a touch until middle way in the 2nd quarter.

I am just so sick of our running game faltering because we dont play the player that has shown the ability to make the most of every touch. I just dont understand it.

I'm hoping the last series was telling that when the game was on the line, PT got the carries.

PT should get 15-20 carries a game and I guarantee the man would be a 1,000 yard back

I have a feeling PT's playing time will increase moving forward

No way Payton doesn't feel the heat on Ingram after tonight.

I'm not as confident. If someone from the future told me that PT averaged something like 15 carries and 4 receptions per game the rest of the way, I'd guess that we go 13-3. I'd bet on Ingram getting more touches than he does, though.

Payton hates him. He can average 10 yards a carry and Payton still won't run him. It's getting extremely ridiculous.

The best part about having PT on the field is that he doesn't instantly relay our intention just by being out there... He can catch out of the backfield, run it up the gut, catch a screen and pass block... He should be out there more just for that. I don't think I've ever seen Ingram catch the ball or get a good block.

I'm fine with it. It's a legit argument.

After today's game I'm sure you'll see Thomas get the majority of the carries.

I doubt it to be honest.

Well that would be all on Payton then. But I doubt the man is so stubborn he'd willfully handicap his team's offense.

Biggest thing Pierre does is fall forward, rarely do you see him ever get stood up, always going forward.
