That is the most pathetic defense I have seen, to allow a team to dink it down the field and not take away the short outside routes!

Let me ask a question.
If you're playing Madden and you're up by 11 with only a few to go, are you playing 4-3 blitz or are you doing dime Cover 4 Quarters?
You trade field position for time, knowing that even if they get a TD and the 2 points, they still need to recover the onsides which is 5 to 7% these days. Fans hate it but every coach does it, because the odds say it's the right call.
