I don’t think they’d want players, and I don’t think anybody’s gonna give them a 1st. Not with his salary. And he’s not old, but this is his 8th season, right? Now, he’s big enough to transition from corner to safety one day which should extend his prime a bit.

Saints don't currently have the salary cap room ($2.2M) for the remainder of Patrick Peterson's 2018 salary (just under $5.825M if traded after Week 8's games). Terron Armstead and/or Cameron Jordan are the most logical restructure candidates.
