Ivory is an RFA next season and would have to absolutely blow up to get a 3rd round tender. We're likely going to get right of first refusal and probably let him go for nothing.

If a key RB on another team gets hurt and Ivory is playing well, MAYBE we could sneak a 5th or 6th rounder for him. But his value is going to be greatest midseason, when someone else's RB or one of our own goes down.

We're not trading any of the other three RBs.

I know, if only people would've given up on Drew Brees after his surgery!! Damn, I'd be in a much happier place right now.

two years to learn pass protection is enough time to atleast become decent. I like Ivory and we have Sproals, Ingram, and PT who are all good to great at pass protection so not a huge need for Ivory to do pass protection on this team.

Ingram is a natural pass blocker because he naturally doesn't know how to avoid a defender.

lol. Drew Brees was a pro bowl player BEFORE he got hurt. He didn't have to learn ANYTHING just get healthy.

LMAO good point. I have never been a fan of Ingram as an NFL RB. Great guy but doesn't fit in the NFL.

because of turnovers is the word you're looking for. Also illegal hits by their defense on our running back.

IMO if Ingram can't outperform ivory with more or similar carries then ivory has earned the right to stay.

I think if ivory leaves he will be similar to Adrain without catching ability. I want that guy here at all cost him on a rival will torture us that boy is is like Earl camball.

whether ingram pans out or not, maybe give him the benefit of the doubt and let him play this season and see what he can do? i know its radical, but not every player lives up to their potential the 1st season.

just a thought.
