Taysom filled a lot of depth issues on offense. Even if he was better than Teddy, he helps the team more in his utility role. In hindsight it's the right call. Teddy did exactly what was needed of him which was not turning the ball over.

I was really happy with how Taysom played too, but it was just one game against one of the worst defenses in the league. This 4 game stretch, unfortunately, won't show us a whole lot since it's 4 bad teams.

You have to think that Taysom was entering contract negotiations might have played a factor in him not starting as well. If Hill would have balled out for 5 games last year someone would have offered a contract the saints couldn't compete with.
