Very true, but even if you look at our game last year against them, their playcalling was so bad it made Pete look like prime sean payton
McDaniels tried to force the wrong system on the wrong QB. This was commonly talked about in the Las Vegas media and by other NFL analysts. Two different philosophies. The rumor is that Carr went off script on some plays during a 3 game stretch and they won those 3 games but it caused a divide between coach and QB when it was brought up in public.

That's the worst I recall seeing the NFC QBs look in quite some time.
I also disagree with the order of the top 5, but not who is in it. Imo, Hurts, Dak, Cousins, Carr, Stafford. But after Hurts there isn't much of a difference.
Could also see Carr being in front of Cousins with us. Don't see Minny quite repeating last year.

Why would an injury in 2022 affect his ranking for 2023?
Given the nature of his injuries people questioned if his career was over. And I don't think he is far from that.
But I'm definitely not a Stafford hater. I wanted him to come and replace Brees before the Rams snatched him up. Sad how much injuries have derailed how good he could have been.

While I do not disagree with you about McDaniels, Carr has had some issues in the past at times with throwing too many INTs.
We had a HoF QB that also had those issues. It's how you bounce back from them that matters more, and when they happen.

Hes a horrible head coach and I still have no idea why he got hired.

Healthy OL and a running game will help Carr exceed expectations. The big but is play calling, it was awful last year.

DESMOND RIDDER, ATLANTA FALCONS
This has to be the weakest group of QBs in a conference I can ever remember.
It is possible to squint at that list and see a scenario where Carr is one of the best 2 QBs in the conference.
