Well, I may be showing my age some but he reminds me of Mike Curtis of the old Baltimore Colts. Tough, hits hard, always in the play.

Only 2 of those seem real wasted.
Courtney Watson in 2nd and Stephone Anthony in the 1st are the only two significant investments in my mind, but neither panned out like we hoped

There was a play Sunday where Jacobs had busted through the line and Werner was the last man before a huge gain would ensue. Werner made that solo tackle on a back having a good year.

Werner has great instincts in coverage. Crazy how good he already is in zone coverage, which is hard to master. He is already very good in man coverage.

His technique while tackling is elite. He rarely misses a tackle.

All true but I see that potential as a ceiling for Werner, if he gets there or not isn't for sure yet. What I do see is a second year player with high level of all of these traits already, and that makes me believe as he gets more confident he will be elite in all these categories.
