Can't say anything other than what I was told at the time was true, and in the time that followed his market never developed like he thought it would and the Saints needed someone like him. Dennis Allen is big on fixing problems and unlike Payton, he doesn't just assume we have someone in the building who can step up.
There is still concern about people who leech off of him, and that's quite a few.
As a Saints fan, I am happy we got a local and former Tiger to join this team at a very important area of need.

Alot of saints players live in Mandeville across the ponchatran.. low crime and they built that lil town up nice

Northshoe is very nice for the most part. Westbank not so much after Katrina. Garden District is nice but they are surrounded by some sketchy areas with lots of crime.
