If Penning can stay healthy he is an absolute animal run blocking guard that can get out and run as well. Amazing how dumb Dennis Allen is.

He's at his best when he is on the move mauling dudes. Our runs to the left today looked great. We definitely have something there.

He’s found his position. We should try to go ahead and sign him to a 3 year deal for less than he might get in free agency. Maybe 3 years $27 million. I think Penning would take that given his injury history so he's a risk but I’d take it. frick Ruiz.

I watched him on most plays I could see on tv. He finished his blocks. Pancaked his guy three times.

Penning should have always been at guard. He is a very good run blocker, and his pass blocking at guard is good enough. I actually like the Saints line (remember both of our tackles are very inexperienced) except for Ruiz.

I’ve been calling for him to get moved to lg since his rookie year after he looked horrible and got benched. I don’t know what Carmichael and Allen were doing. Lots of others in here said the same thing.
