If only I could be that smug.
But I do criticize him for the things I perceive him doing wrong, like hiring Allen after Payton because it was the easy thing, and holding the scouting teams together too long when they have proven ineffective (but we don't see behind the scenes, and this could have been more Payton and Allen just getting who they want regardless).
I think he does a masterful job with managing the cap and always thinking ahead, and like I say every year it has not stopped us from signing FAs, especially some pretty big ones. If a coach wants a player Loomis tries to make it happen.
And I know on that point many disagree, but to them I say suck a lemon. ;p

I really don't think it was revamped that much.
Ireland has always run the college scouting and draft.
