Now that Carmichael has learned how to use him, I doubt Taysom will want to follow the pill popper.

Payton can GTFO, and whichever team he wants to go for should be fleeced of all its picks.

I would give the cowboys Payton, Taysom, and Winston for 2 first round picks, and 2 2nd round picks.

I still have doubt Pete will use Taysom effectively going forward. Believe it when I see it. If he has 3-4 games this season like Sunday then he's easily worth $10M/aav.

Dude that is a ridiculously high bar. 3-4 games with 4 td's?

Most troubling part would be Taysom Hill no longer being a Saint. He is the most winning football player we have on the team. He’s also the most likable.

Funny how a few games change things.

2 weeks ago the majority of this board hated taysom.

They finslly let him throw the ball. Carmichael needs to keep mixing it up with taysom.

He's not worth his $10M average cap hit, let alone a $24M cap hit.

$24M is a nice price for an elite WR1

You are one disingenuous fucher.

You just explained in your prior post why his cap number is so high.

10 mil wasn't high when he was qb2 plus his othet responsibilities.

He is 32 and going forward will get hurt more.

I do not understand how you are getting a downvote.

I deal with large CRE developers - I see $50-100 million dollar deals negotiated all the time.

If the guys are friends it ALWAYS influences the price a bit. If they can’t stand each other it ALWAYS influences the price a bit.

ALWAYS

Not the TDs necessarily but being the best player on offense and taking over the game

So better than Mike and AK and Olave.

Rich Eisen was trying to connect the dots on his show today. Stated why fire their coach after week 5 unless they want to get a jump on the Payton sweepstakes

this has been the case since the beginning. I have never believed that Loomis and/or Gayle were going to handcuff Payton by taking high draft picks from his next job. They will thank him for his many years of service and wish him well.

Yep. This board is going to go nuclear when we don’t get the kings ransom for him.
