News I'm sure they'd have rather broken themselves and not because some dude ran to the Internet after seeing their daughter cry. It is what it is because that's the world we live in now, but a problem they likely won't have any longer.

I love the people already cutting ties with Payton (giving him the Saban treatment) I feel better about it knowing he's keeping a house here...but I also won't be comfortable until he signs an extension, hopefully that happens.

except for the fact the son moved to Indy with his dad to finish HS, and went backto Tampa to attend college.
ETA oh and not to mention plenty of other kids of coaches manage to not kill themselves including 3 other of Dungy's kids

Jesus Christ leave the man and his family alone. There's no need to attack your own coach because he believes moving is the best option for his wife and kids. New Orleans isn't for everyone.

Typical New Orleans over-reaction when they realize they aren't the center of the universe. Get a grip. He basically lived on the Southshore during the season, rarely seeing his family, anyway. I'm sure they missed some friends in Dallas and the fact that they bought a house full of Chinese drywall didn't exactly help endear them to the place. You think this is any different than any NFL star? I don't hear people in Indy or NYC complaining about how little time the Mannings spend in those cities, and I didn't hear Packers fan whining about how Favre's family didn't spend all that time up there.
I guess y'all can try to get the City Council to pass another resolution opposing his move and ordering him to send his kids to SUNO.

One thing you can be sure of, if the Saints don't get deep in the playoffs in the next 2 years, this move to Dallas will be brought up as an excuse

I dont know who started the original thread I never saw it. The story is, by saturday afternoon every person that has a daughter that goes to SSA in covington knew about Paytons daughter crying at a dance in the bathroom, saying she was moving to Dallas.
it was only a matter of time before someone ran to the internet with what they heard. the assumptions then began to fly.
I, on the other hand knew better than to run on here with the info I had.
