Cooks is not a #1 wr. If there isn’t something else dangerous going on in the rout trees, he can be shut down by any good cb.

Most Saints fans knew this, but outsiders talked about him as an elite receiver. The problem is, his soft/entitled mentality will prevent him from ever being an elite #1 receiver in the NFL. We all saw it in his play, and it was no surprise to hear that he sat around moping while the team celebrated a big victory.

It’s not hi mentality.

It’s the fact that he’s 5’6

There are few complete #1 WR's....Michael Thomas is a slow possession type receiver. The fact is we really miss Cooks. Only route Ginn can run is the fly and Brees can hardly throw that anymore.

It’s been repeated on here many times. Trade worked out really well considering how valuable Ramcyzk is going forward and how many injuries have occurred on the offensive line. We’d be in trouble without him,and Ram + Ginn is definitely better than Cooks. However, we are still missing the guy and how much he opened up the offense.

Not a big Ginn supporter but he made a hell of a catch last game to keep that last drive going. He got ROCKED and held on to the ball. I hope he keeps it up.

The Saints Offense requires a possession type receiver that can also stretch the field. Cooks can't do both. Yes, perhaps his height has something to do with that. He does not work to save a QB under heat.
Don't miss him.

Why do we need cooks to run the fly if Brees can’t throw it? Interdasting

Do y’all think we still pick lattimore if we had made the trade for butler??

Looks like the FO pushed all the right buttons during the off-season

He's 5'10". Antonio Brown is also 5'10". Something tells me height may not be the issue.

Average American male height is 5’9.5 so you’re an idiot. He’s not a #1 WR but it’s not his size. Steve Smith was 5’8 and Antonio Brown is 5’10.

If Cooks can't be a true #1 with Drew Brees or Tom Brady, he ain't ever gonna be a #1

He was 7th in the league last year in WR yards

He’s 10th this year

Pretty sure that makes him a no 1 WR with both

He couldn't get separation and often had problems getting off the line.

He was dominated.
