Followed closely by us.

One of their fans made a good point, if we sign Carr for anything close to 30 million. We will be paying over 50 million between Carr, Hill, and what we owe Winston this year. Pretty ridiculous for average to bad qb play.

Yeah. We are better off just keeping Dalton.

Panthers are more likely to trade up and draft a young guy

Honestly we are and I’m not even a big Dalton guy.

Dalton is arguably better than Carr. Especially for the difference in salary.

Man, if I was the Panthers I'll be trying to package pick 9 with some future picks to move up and grab one of the top three quarterbacks in the draft. Might not be able to do it until draft day though, depending upon how the picks go.

We’re better off just letting Taysom be QB and winning with defense, special teams, and protecting the fricking football

Well if we start Taysom that blows your no turnover theory out of the water. I enjoy watching him play but he can fumble tf out of a football.

I’d love to hear the argument for Dalton being better than Carr

The argument is possibly paying A- money for a C+ QB (Carr) instead of paying D- money for a C- QB (Dalton).

Taysom has nothing to do with it. Winston will save 4 million by being cut and will no longer be with the team next year

It’s not a good point

I get the money issues with Carr.

I also think you have to at least do your due diligence to give the idea that you’re trying.

Carr while coming off a bad year has more upside than Andy, who is a true statue at this point and completes one accurate 15 yard pass a game at best.

Even in your exaggerated scenario you still agree Carr is better than Dalton. So no argument.

Daltons contract is better. He isn’t

i'd like to have dalton back, but i know it isn't gonna be 3mil a year like this previous season.

carr would be a great addition, but only at a price that let's us clean up the cap little by little and keep building the roster.
