I mean he seemed to be lsu’s top receiver last year with an injured qb who couldn’t plant and throw and a line that gave the qb no time to throw. If they had an offense he was on his way to shining for lsu.

If Kiffin is at LSU a year early, Barion is probably a second round pick. Criminally underused at LSU, Sloan LOVED to throw him screens and only screens. I think he will be our third receiver by mid year, the dude is a burner and better hands than what he got to show last year.

Much of the worry about the offense through 3 days of camp was just hilarious. They have 2 new guys on the OL (Ruiz has been out), 2 new TEs, a new starting RB and 3 new receivers. No shite they’re going to struggle early on.
Not only that, but we know the playbook is expanding heavily so there’s a lot more on not just Shough but everyone. The only new piece on defense is Elliss.

Defense always tends to have an edge early as well as they start with some vanilla stuff the defense can read easily, and you don't really have that chess match going super early.
They also rarely go full out in non padded (or even in padded sometimes), which makes it easier for the defense to react to the slower cuts.
