Having an opinion and melting acting like the FO has no idea what they are doing are two different things.

I’d love to see them draft a left tackle and receiver with their two picks. But they know better than I do what their needs are. I just see the deep receiver class and know that even if they used their later first round pick on a receiver they could hit a home run.

But I won’t be shocked at all if the saints traded their picks to move into the top 5 and grab an OT.

I still don’t believe they will draft a QB in the 1st. I know a lot of people think they will but I just don’t see it.

They were clueless when they drafted Ruiz in the first round a year after drafting McCoy

OT and WR in the first, and NONE of these mediocre QBs at all and I'm good...Anything else (unless someone unexpectedly falls to us) and the melt is on

I’ve never understood OL melts. It’s the most important position group on the team. Ask Burrow.

I don't melt but I do something almost as bad. Even if it's a pick I hate, I'll try and rationalize to my friends how's its really a great pick and a real smart move. Inside I'm seething.

What would generate the largest melt? Drafting Kenny Pickett?

Hell the professionals bat a mediocre percentage. I loved the Stephone Anthony pick... ?....

So a fan at home, drinking beer, grilling with a beer gut, obviously has a better average, right?

Hey Wardniner,

Please don't ever have another opinion on this board again. I'd hate for you to be a hypocrite.

Same. It ruined a long running tradition for my friends and I to gather at my folks' home in New Orleans and spend the entire day eating, drinking, and watching the draft. We still reminisce about those days.

frick yeah. We had a huge annual draft day boil in either BR or New Orleans. It was something everyone knew about every year so would see some people on that day that I would barely see the rest of the year.

My favorite guy is the one who accidentally watched some obscure CFB game and some no named player from some podunk school had a good day so they INSIST the Saints have to draft this guy in the mid round slots because he’s just ‘that’ good and then gets all pissy when it doesn’t happen

Also, any time any one of you clowns beat your chest about watching ‘film’

Just stop

We'll get our annual dissertation from SFP on how we should feel about the draft pick.

To be fair, he’s an attorney so his opinion is automatically better than everyone else’s

Don’t believe me? Just ask him

What in the frick?

I hate the new format. I liked having the first three rounds on Saturday and the remaining four rounds on Sunday. Wake up early, do your chores, then 48 hours of non-stop draft coverage. This splitting it up on Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday is corporate money-grubbing BS.

Completely ruined the draft for me.

I only focus on the Saints for the most part and I used to be a HUGE draft guy.
