He is significantly better. GW is an alpha WR1

He is significantly better. GW is an alpha WR1 that should command 10-15 targets a game. Olave is a very good WR2 that should see 8-10 targets a game.

I feel like Olave is really coming around now that Shough has locked down the position. They’re really starting to build a connection with each other and Olave seems to be having fun and playing hard. I’m actually excited about his future now that he has a competent QB. The concussion history is a concern that can’t be ignored however.

The draft capital used to trade for Olave rears its ugly head in every game. It was and has been a huge set back for this franchise
Ah, yes, I remember you and I were in harmony on this.

Garret Wilson is underrated. Dude is really good and being held back by a shitty situation.

You can put up numbers with the Carrs and Winstons of the world. Only real issue I have with Olave is that he isn’t explosive after the catch. He does a lot of other things well.

None of the three have had a good QB throwing to them

Olave earned his #1 WR money this season and should be paid.
We do not need to draft a WR in the first round or a "#1" WR, we need complementary pieces. (Namely a replacement for Shaheed's deep threat and speed threat)
Vale looks to possibly be one of those.
I'm very interested in seeing what this offensive staff can do with Palmer and Polk. Means has to get and stay healthy so he can be properly evaluated
Tipton, Pettis and Austin are not IMO long term answers beyond 4th or 5th WR guys.
I'd be ok looking at WR in the mid to late rounds and addressing more pressing areas in the 1-3rd rounds.

No. Most everyone said he's a solid WR2 who has a bad concussion history and will likely demand WR1 money for his extension.
He's much better than a WR2.
The concussion history is a dealbreaker, IMO.
The other issue was related to the capital the Saints spent to draft him. But, he has lived up to his draft pick in a vacuum.
