He looked slow as shite in those highlights
part of it, he's not the fastest guy, part of it is he has a very short stride so it takes a little longer to get up to full speed vs. a longer stride, and part of it is he run very upright without much bend

frick I was hoping Kraft made it to the 4th. If he played in the SEC he’d be a top 50 pick.

Miller’s lack of tempo and explosiveness between the tackles could turn him into a grinder against the speed of NFL defenses. His restricted stride length provides greater control to cut early in the run, but it works against him when he needs to hit the gas and stride past linebackers. He has the size and strength to keep runs moving though contact, although he could be an even better run finisher. His third-down value is relatively low, so he will need to sell himself as an early down backup on the next level.
Yeah I’m not sold
Runs upright and with noticeable hip tightness.
Takes a step too long to transition into burst gear.
Needs to lower pads and run behind them.
Struggles to make crisp cuts as an outside runner.

I wouldn’t really trust rb reviews. Lot of undrafted and late rbs that do really well in the league.

Hopefully they trade him. Overpaid and his athletic prime is gone at this point. He has nowhere but to decline now as a RB and he's a headache. Bye felicia.

Just saying the negatives were noticeable even from the highlights on tv

I agree but do appreciate the great years AK provided.

I wouldn't be shocked if they draft another complimentary back to him tbh. I don't think they plan to keep Kamara around much longer.
It's either that or they drafted this dude to compliment AK? I don't know.

undrafted Pierre Thomas beat out 4th round pick Antonio Pittman in training camp in their rookie season

Yeah rbs dont sit for two years or just spell people sporadically. If he did, that means he sucks. I think this kid will get major carries in his rookie year.
Umm, you couldn’t be more wrong. Look at guys like Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook, Tony Pollard, Austin Eckler, Carlos Hyde, Mark Ingram, Lamar Miller, who didn’t break out until their third year or so. And there’s even more guys who didn’t contribute more until their second year like Deuce, Frank Gore, etc. etc.

Walterfootball seems to like him

Weaknesses:
Won't just hit the hole
Will take some losses looking for big play
Not a good receiver at this time
Not currently a good blocker
again, not seeing how this guy replaces Kamara... if we talking about replacing Ingram, sure, I can see the value of the guy for that... but we signed Williams to replace Ingram... so this guy is basically just a copy of the guy we already brought in to replace Ingram, yet we are going to be without Kamara for a while, so how does this guy replace that lack of production in the passing game?

We need to transition away from him, hopefully by trade, with Carr on the team taking a larger % of cap.
Isn’t he scheduled to make $17mm a season?

At least be fair...
Strengths:
Three-down starter ability
Natural running instincts
Supreme patience
Quick feet
Nose for the end end zone
Second gear to hit the next level
Gets yards after contact
Good body lean to run low
Bends at the knee
Runs behind his pads
Can create for himself
Good vision
Keeps feet going after contact
Has upside for passing game
