I'm not, don't like Thursday night games. It's a bunch of bullshite to feed the NFL machine coffers.
It's unnecessary just like having 4 preseason games is.

No, we are not. Just my standard response to these games and getting them back to back.

4 prime time games announced so far only ONE in the dome. frick that shite

The Saints are the Superdome's primary tenant... whatever the NFL says, goes
Do you think the NFL would schedule a game the same day as the LSU-Miami game in Dallas and tell them to deal with it? Absolutely not

Hah, Knew we would get screwed with two back to back Thursday night games.
wtf
That is hilarious
To go beyond that, I had a mock for at Atlanta and at Dallas back to back Thursday nights (Nov 22 and 29), but I switched it because of the reports that LA was playing KC in Mexico on Thanksgiving night. I would have been dead on save for the "at" Atlanta part.

I really really like opening the season at home.
Maybe we can get the buster arse Browns right after Tampa and jump out to a quick 2-0. Would be huge

bad analogy considering NFL & college make a consorted effort to stay out of each other's way
the only event that I know gets special privilege from its league is the San Antonio Rodeo... thus the Spurs "Rodeo road trip" every year
hell... the Superdome staff will have to rush to get the building ready for the Bayou Classic after the Thanksgiving night game

2 of the 4 are in the dome. Redskins and falcons

#Saints travel to the #Panthers to play them on Monday Night Football on December 17, according to a source
then he says this
Based on the leaked Bucs home schedule, would mean the #Saints host the Panthers in the season finale.

the Superdome crew is well-versed in this rush for a quick turnaround between games

quote:So you are saying that the NFL could schedule a game on September 23 if they want, the day after Taylor Swift, and the Dome would have to ask Live Nation to move the concert. This would be breach of contract for the building and cost them lots of money and also screw up the entire tour schedule.
the only event that I know gets special privilege from its league is the San Antonio Rodeo... thus the Spurs "Rodeo road trip" every year
The building is absolutely allowed to hold certain dates back from the NFL to use.
