Saints defense keeps it going and Drew is just Drew. Plus the Saints have won 6 of the last 8 at Carolina.

I really think this is going to be a GREAT game and go down to the wire. Carolina is going to be on a mission this week after being embarassed by TB last week. As long as McKenzie and Harper can keep tabs on Steve Smith and keep him to under 100 I think we have a very good shot at winning this game.

Saints - 27
Panthers - 21

Brees 290 yards, 75% completions, 2 TD's to Reggie and Moore
Deuce with 70+ with the other TD

I say that Payton goes off keel here and total surprises Carolina. Deuce gets worked hard (100 yards 2tds). In the midst of that Brees still throws 2 tds (1 deep to Devery, the other to a tight end- pick one). Reggie has a quiet game, no score, but plenty of decoy and screens plus some short yardage runs.

Defense stops the run, under 80 yards, and gets two sacks and a bunch of hits and hurries. 1 int, and 1 fumble recovery.

Special teams keeps us near the 50, and keeps them around their 20 all day.

I like the Saints pretty stout in this one. 35 to 17.

I'm not predicting Saints games any more. Seems to work much better.

I had this one picked as a loss earlier in the year, but as someone reminded me in this thread, the Saints have played well at Carolina for the past 7 or 8 years.

I think it's a close one, Saints 24-21.

i know it may be crazy.. But even though the panthers have the 2nd ranked pass defense in the league....... I still dont think they can keep drew brees under 300 yds and 2 td passes.
Panthers have a middle of the road run defense, and they way duece is running, they will have to respect that, and this will open up that patent pending play action pass deep ball to devery..

Not to mention the fact that shockey and colston may get substantial play time.. I feel good about this game...
I predict a saints win...

we get some more power back in the offense.(colston, shockey)that makes them try and play the pass more leaving lots of room for reggie and duece.saints D-fence gets even better this week.i say we leave carolina with lots of condifence heading to london.

with what Brees has managed with what he has had at hand, you can only imagine. With a full force offense, NO team in the league is safe!!!!

NO 33, Carolina 17 (two breath catchers in a row, damn that'll be nice!)
