I doubt the people who were telling people to sit down will even read this thread or anything telling them that that is ok.

What! I didn't see anyone in the Plaza or Terrace sitting down at all yesterday. The Loge was lame as always though

I'd laugh at someone if they told me to sitdown during a playoff game.

There shouldn't even be a question about this. I think it goes without saying you should be on your feet the whole game. However, don't bring that crazy logic in Tiger stadium!

For what its worth, we were standing for the entire Saints vs. Skins game and not one person seemed to care. In fact, for a crappy team and crappy stadium, the fans that were there were into and a lot of them were standing.

I'm pretty sure that your standing made a huge difference in the score.

Hard to believe, I know. Buddy of mine had to remove himself from terrace thanks to some a-holes tapping him on the shoulder and telling him to sit down.

No. It is a biological fact that the human vocal cords can produce louder sounds standing up than sitting down.

Saints on D = Stand tha' F up and yell yer arse off on EVERY SINGLE PLAY.
Saints on O = Sit tha' F down and shut up.

That's why I sit down on offense most of the time.

I'll stand if someone's standing in front of me though. Or just look around the person.

if you go to a stadium or auditorium to sit , go see a opera or a play...

if you go to a concert or football game you better expect people to stand up and get involved into what happening

P.S. FWIW Do you think the saints players and coaching staff want the fans sitting next week when the vikes are on offense ?

Go eat a fat dick. Don't you ever, EVER try to justify your pathetic fandom by insinuating that people who stand are worse than you.
frick YOU. This is sports a-hole, not some fricking musical. STAND THE frick UP AND CHEER. It's loud, it's raucous and it's sports. If you don't like it, sell your tickets and then use the money to pay a horse to frick your arse for you.

ETA: I'm talking to you too Lester and LSU77.
