This will last at least 5 years. Possibly longer.

Loomis/Lauscha know they have an oblivious owner that really relies on them and is not concerned about winning.

So they dont have to do anything bold that could actually get them fired. They just need enough to not bottom out.

When you’re not being bold, you’re mediocre.

You hire Dennis Allen. You give up a ton for Derrick Carr

And here we are. Treading water because of our situation with contracts and ownership and management and coaching for at least 5 years.

The second they hired loser Allen the fate of the franchise was sealed.

Saints have been in purgatory for the last 8 years, winning just enough games not to have a good pick all while not winning any meaningful games. Unfortunately it will be the same thing until we blow it completely up

We don’t need to blow up the team. Just need some new blood, better coaching and some young talent.

Loomis and Lauscha will never get fired and they know it.

Same with Spayton and Brees

Bree’s retired 2 years too late

And payton quit

Didn't Loomis qnd Allen trade picks to Philly to move way up.

Didn't they just bench that pick.

Better than what the Saints were for 50 years, which was a team that won 3 to 6 games a year, at best.

We’d be much better off being a 3 win team than now.

I do not see a light at the end of the tunnel here.

Loomis isn't going anywhere. Gayle is a weak owner.

Dennis Allen will get at least another year.

Our Cap situation is frickED in the a-hole with no way to remedy it because of the contracts.

Derek Carr's contract will keep him here.

This is going to be a rough 3-5 years

Don’t forget the Ricky Williams-like Olave trade
