Now he gets another year to develop and hopefully once Jordan is gone and we figure out how the other 3 edges not named Young fit in (or don't) on this team, we should have a spot for him.

Not sure why you're comparing them as Taysom was never going to be used as a true QB here
That said, Taysom has been hurt and not the same for quite some time, and he is up in age as well. It was sad to see him losing his explosiveness over the years, but the way he played you knew it was inevitable.
