Why this unpronounceable guy over Gregory?

Because Gregory is a pothead who was seemingly born without a frontal lobe. You see how the Browns are dealing with Josh Gordon? That's going to be Gregory's team.

LB

He's 6'3 253, which means he will likely be more like 260 which is normal for OLBs.

Justin Houston, Aldon Smith, Demarcus Ware, Vonn Miller are all 255-260

Wasn't criticizing. Just asking.

I like 18 sacks!

Here is why Gregory sucks.

He missed at least 3 meetings with teams

quote:

ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who said last night that Gregory may not have been truthful with teams at the Scouting Combine about his use of marijuana, reports that Gregory had another problem in his meetings with teams. Specifically, Gregory failed to show up for some of his meetings with teams.

“He missed some meetings with some teams, at least three of those meetings with teams,” Schefter said. “Now he did have a long and extensive travel schedule. It wore him out. So he deserves some compassion, and he deserves some chances here. But he wasn’t responsible, teams noticed. It alienated some of the teams.”

God no not a tweener please. Read good mix of size and speed high character and hard worker. Would have been a top 15 but not for the knee.

Haven't seen much highlites on this cat.

He's a stand-up OLB in a 3-4. He'll have to work on coverage but he's versatile enough.

sounds great.

I feel like we're set at DE, but needed linebackers.
Very happy with the draft so far.

This. He's NFL size ready now and just looks like a LB. Most OLB's are 250-260.

I love this pick actually. He's a name I've seen thrown around a bit for us so I've read up on him and watched his highlights. He could be a big time play maker for us.

I agree 100%. I'm liking this so far, and now I'm wondering if we are going to trade up into the 2nd round again.

So is this guy a replacement for Junior? Dumerville type DE or an OLBer? Where does he fit in? I don't know much about the guy, but TWO ACL tears scare me.

If this guy can stay healthy, it sounds like we got another solid linebacker. I'm pleased.
