Looks like Brown may fall to 31. If the Saints took him there, you have to like the commitment to building from the inside out. I guess it depends how many LBers are taken between now and then.

interior OL (can be had in the 2nd 3rd easily), pass rushers (very rare and very expensive), and WR (becoming more expensive, but available later)

nope it was edge rushers the position we REALLY needed and now have a weak stock to draft

well aparently the Saints had OL on the draft board higher than edge rushers.

A laywer from Lake Charles vs. guys who get paid to do this for a living

People are so stubborn. We have pass rushers. Our issue was giving up quick passes and not allowing them time to do their job. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't take any pass rushers now that it looks like Galette won't be suspended.

whoa now

this organization hasn't exactly drafted well, especially early, which is why we're in the bind that we're in

ILB is a greater need than pass rusher imo

but do you consider your unprofessional opinion better than theirs?

ETA: which is what every draft unevitably boils down too

what's the point of discussing the draft if you're going to just blindly support whatever strategy the front office goes with?

if that is your standard, neither you nor me should even be discussing this draft b/c neither of us are professionals

Loomis/Payton have either the 3rd or 4th highest Pro Bowlers drafted per draft pick ratio. Can't remember which it was, but NFLN had a TV spot about it a week ago.
