The queens can suck a fatty.. If they coulda hit Brees like that the whole game, they would have. If they didn't want to get Favre beat up they should have left someone back there to help block..

meh... taking away the superbowl won't do anything. They should beat payton and loomis within an inch of their lives with billy clubs and drag williams behind a car going 50 on the highway. That's the only appropriate punishment and will set an example

I actually can't wait for our punishment so we don't have to keep hearing about these stupid possible punishments

This is so absurd..... if the play on the field was ruled "legal" by the damn referees, what point does the "bounty program" even have?

I dont agree with it but it had no bearing on the outcome and most certainly did not give us a "competitive advantage".....

Bragging rights in the locker room and extra motivation. This is like making a mountain out of a mole hill or crying over spilled milk or....

Yeah listening to Steve young last night made it seem the Saints invented bounties and was the only ones who ever did it and should be made an example of. Big surprise coming from an ex 49er we used to pound into the ground.

Hopefully Greg Williams gets the worst of it, glad he left if this is how he coaches! If Payton knew he will be fined too, Godell will probably match the $500000 given to Belichek if not exceed it.

But no way strip the title, that's ridiculous!

Yahoo allowing "contributors" to write articles is turning their site into a Sportsbleacher aka no credibility.

I thought Yahoo news was somewhat respectable. Apparently they will let any a-hole writing a blog in his parents basement be a journalist for a day. All this shite is starting to get on my nerves a bit.

hahahahahahaha

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Strip the Saints of a Super Bowl title? This scandal has one upside - it allows the world to see the true morons in sports journalism.

You know what they should do? Move the team. And burn the Dome down. What I'm just being logical like every other writer.

The NFL needs a severe penalty to discourage the bounty system. In all honesty there could be criminal charges and civil charges down the road. Playing NFL football does give you permission to commit a crime on the field. Courts have given sports and pro sports a lot of leaway, but you cannot assault someone on the football field.

Wouldn't be surprised to see one-year suspensions and a huge fine for this. Vacating a superbowl would be going too far, but the Saints aren't the Packers or Giants or Steelers and punishing the Saints by vacating the superbowl could set a good example.
