Guy next to me showed up in a Florida State Jersey and hat. Didn't understand what was up with that and figured he'd be a bucs fan. Dude went nuts for the Saints the whole game. Kinda threw me off, but he was cool and knew his football.

You see douchebags do this at every sporting event. There was a guy sitting near me at the LSU - Utah St. game decked out in Miami gear. Clearly he just wanted attentions because who the frick wears a MIA jersey and hat to an LSU game

Yep, I see this at almost every home game in my section. There's always that a-hole wearing a Cowboys jersey. I've worn my old Aaron Brooks a time or two.. gotten mixed reactions.

I wore a saints jersey to a Cin vs Atl game in Cincinnati back in the vick days - and cincy rolled them out of the stadium. felt good to wear it in front of the falcons fans that showed up.

What kind of dumb arse thinking is this? I wear my LSU clothes on Saturday and my Saints gear on Sundays. Doesn't matter what event I'm at. I went to a Texas Tech vs Oklahoma game and I was wearing my LSU gameday stuff.

New Orleans has a shite ton of tourists and it’s possible that some of those visitors factored in going to an NFL game as part of their vacation plans. So they probably wear their favorite teams’ colors as a way to show they are just there for the experience — not as a fan of either team.

I don’t see the problem. Game day is an event across the league. Most teams have a game somewhere. Fans just like to rep their team. No biggie. As for me, I just don’t buy much “gear”, regardless. To each his own. ??
