Not a great roster to rebuild with but it's not devoid of talent either.

Stretching with a lot of these guys. Building blocks should be just Granderson, McCoy and Fuaga,. The rest of those except Kool Aid should be moved to solid guys. Kool Aid should be in young with promise. Most of those already in young with promise are more likely just roster filler.

I’m not as high on Granderson as everyone else is.

I think Breese, Fuaga, McCoy, McKinstry, Adebo and Taylor are guys you make long term investments in and build around.

I think Olave, Howden, Shaheed, Werner, Granderson, Kpassagnon, Ruiz and Gay Jr. are really good role players you try to keep but know you may lose some of them.

Taysom, Davis and Kamara are really good, but can’t be relied upon for three to four more years of high level production.

You’d feel a lot better if guys like Breese,, Granderson, and Olave weren’t the best we had at their positions. If they were playing next to a true stud they’d be better for it

Some major stretches there in my opinion. You can take any crappy NFL team and find a dozen or so half decent players. Rashid for example is amazing because he's super cheap. Coming off a major injury and coming up for a contract he doesn't seem anyway near a "building block" kind of player.

There are some pieces there but it`s not only starters they need it`s quality
backups with NFL experience. For the Offense to just fall apart like they did
is a testament to the poor job Loomis has done. The OL backups shouldn`t even be in the league. The scouting department is the worse in the NFL as
proven by our free agent signings and the lack of production of the high
draft choices. It`s pathetic to think this organization expects people to support this garbage by spending their hard earned money to go to the games.

Good but will be old by the time we're good
C-Erik McCoy (6)

Building Blocks
DT Brian Bresee (2)
OT-Taliese Fuaga (R)

Decent Players - Starters but not stars
CB-Paulson Adebo (4)

CB-Alontae Taylor (3)
LB-Pete Werner (4)
Olave

That's it. That's the list.

Ruiz, Howden and Willie Gay Jr. are decent starting level players. I think McKinstry is a good player too. Although it might be a little too early to tell how good.

No matter how you sugarcoat this, we’re still in the early innings of a lost decade plus of Saints Football.

I can’t see any scenario that this is a playoff team again until 2030 at earliest. We have yet to start the cap purge at any level and some cans will need to be kicked again just to field a team next season.

The real scrutiny and story on how irresponsible Loomis has been is only beginning to unfold.

If we’re trying to create optimism with the likes of “Rajzohn Wright” then we’re in even worse shape than previously thought.

We do have some talent but we drafted so badly that it's going to take longer to build.

We have holes and depth issue on the o-line.

We have nothing besides Kamara in the backfield.

We need to upgrade and utilize the right end position.

To be competitive we may need a true #1 receiver. Olava would be a great #2, and Shahees would be your #3 and you could get creative on how you line him up.

I'm gonna say besides Granderson the whole d-line is trash, and I'm including Breese. I don't care if he has 4 sacks; nobody on the line has an answer for stopping the run. It's just a mess. This could take several drafts to fix.

Demario is a Saints legend but this might be his last year and that'll leave a giant hole.

Our corners are good but we need some upgrades at safety.
