The Saints are still the 3 seed regardless of what happens tomorrow night. But, this is a major hurtle out of the way to get the #1 or #2. If the Saints can win out...

Still need GB to lose.
SF to lose one more, whether that be to LAR or SEA doesn’t matter.
Obviously none of this matters if we don’t win out.

Hopefully, we win tomorrow and in Nashville and SEA/SF/GB lose (obviously not likely), then W17 becomes a bye.

Do I have this right? In a car and don’t have a chance to look at the playoff machine

I see it this way... ATL winning today opens up another avenue for the Saints to get a bye or even 1 seed

now if SF loses to LAR next week... we don't even need SEA to win the West anymore

this is a HUGE result

thank you Atlanta for a wonderful 3 weeks (A) Saints win on Thanksgiving B) LSU wins SEC Champ C) Falcons win over SF)

Saints still stay at #3. Seahawks and 49ers swap out.

Nothing really changed with the loss but it gives the Saints more options

By default, if it gives the saints more options to get out of the 3 slot, then something has changed. Just saying.

Nothing's changed other than the Saints possibly getting the #2 now and the Packers #1 seed if both win out.

They would need the 49ers & Seahawks to lose at least one more.

The Bears still would have needed a 2 point conversion but that idiotic failure to not lateral by #49 was dumb. It could have been just as huge for us today as the Julio TD catch.
