NEW YORK (Reuters) - National Football League (NFL) Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league made mistakes in not listening to players, in a video on Friday denouncing racism in the United States amid widespread protests over police brutality against black people.
“We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest,” said Goodell. “We, the National Football League, believe black lives matter.”

I would like to apologize to Malcolm Jenkins. I watched the 70 second video of all the black NFL stars that got rightfully angry at the NFL.
When Roger Goodell resigns, I would respectfully suggest that Tony Dungy, Mike Tomlin, or Malcolm Jenkins be considered for the new NFL Commissioner.

He may have gone to tryouts, but it seemed like more of a show for his cause.

Isn’t affirmative action a thing. Shouldn’t the NFL and other major sports be required to have a 50/50 split, or better fractioned to include all races. I feel like other races are oppressed in the current sporting culture.
