They’re massively overcompensating to save face. One NE DB has gotten flagged 3 times in the 4th alone and then they swallow the whistle on a really blatant pick play.
That, or we got the short end of the stick when it came to reffing games for the home team.

They have a brand new face of the league who’s winning MVP and may legitimately be the first prospect to enter the Rodgers/Brady/Brees tier in over a decade.
Plus the first Chiefs/Rams game was considered a “classic” with all the points scored.

You obviously are not aware that the Super Bowl will have 100 mill viewers and a 40+ rating NO MATTER WHAT. It is in their best interest for Mahomes to show out in front of the largest TV audience annually.
