Is he the first player ever suspended that’s not even on a team?

If Thomas does sign with a team at some point over the next week, he will not be eligible to take the field during the NFL’s opening week. The league determined the two-time All-Pro violated the NFL's personal conduct policy in November. Thomas was arrested in November 2023 in Kenner, Louisiana, after a confrontation with a construction worker. He was later accepted into a pretrial diversion program

I don’t know why Kansas City doesn’t pick him up. Good possession receiver. Can help teach Worthy how to be a pro. Doesn’t have to be “the guy” there. Good QB that won’t get him killed. Winning team so he won’t be disgruntled. Veteran leadership to keep him in check.

Do you think he forgot how to train, how to practice and how to prepare? I think he gets disengaged if he’s on a team that is losing or a QB he thinks is subpar. If he’s engaged, his prep and practice is his strong point.
He’s lost a step and is pretty much your 3rd or 5th wideout that runs slants, quick curls and blocks.
He can’t go to the Giants, that ends up being the same situation as here. He could go to Kansas City and play that 4th/5th guy. He could go to Jacksonville and help Brian Thomas and be a 3rd guy. He could probably do the same in atlanta. Can’t go to Oakland or Carolina. He needs the right situation.

Exactly! I think he stunted the growth of Chris Olave. He definitely didn’t help. I get OP’s point if it was just about technique, but I think he is more likely to share his selfish tendencies and attitude problems.

Yet no one has shown interest in Thomas. You must ask yourself why? Most of us here don’t need to ask that question. We’ve seen why.

When he waited until right before the start of the season a couple years ago to tell the team that he had a lingering injury that needed surgery told me everything I needed to know about what kind of teammate he is.
