By far the highest payroll in the league last year to put the worst defense of all time on the field.
Lets restructure two keys pieces of the problem. Keep the worst safety combo in the league
About to lose the guy that protects the franchise.
About to lose the franchise's backup.
And no money to do anything about it...
In Loomis we trust though, right? Right?
Must be nice to have an owner so loyal, and too old to understand how much money the GM is blowing.

They had no choice but to overpay will smith and they definitely had no choice but to put 1/6 of their cap into Brees.
Now, the Harper deal? I can't explain that. People forget jimmy graham is going to demand a huge contract soon, any fat trimming we do is not for a big name fa, it's for him.

Created cap space. Doesn't meant they are on the roster game 1.

Wait till you see what Chicago is willing to pay him. You'll be ok.

Super Bowls are not won on day one of free agency. Ask Philly.

Whatever the 49ers have been doing the past 2 years is working, let's do that.

If we win 13 games, I will be on his nuts. For the record, I have been off his nuts since bountygate first broke.

Well. We all had the same reaction to Bushrod when Brown left. Lets see what happens. I'm guessing Charlie Brown. Or that 7th rounder from last year. Maybe he is good. It just needs to play out. Also, Bushrod isn't gone yet. Maybe his market isn't that high. But I do think the Bears will overpay for him. They are desperate and Kromer is there.

Bushrod is terrible and needed help all the time because he was beat routinely. We'll be fine with a stop gap veteran for a year or two.
