We might just have had a ‘96 Ravens-esque draft class boys. All of our rookies are high football IQ guys too. Ireland’s focus on getting high IQ/early impact players is paying off. We’re set up very nicely for years to come

I doubt we will ever have such a great draft class again

But if we can get another one like the 2016 class we will be set up for years to come

This has me excited to see what he can do this coming draft. If J Ireland can pull in a draft half as good as this years the saints would be setup nicely for years to come.. supporting a team with young talent with cap space is very refreshing

Lattimore is pretty much a lock for DROY

OROY is a tough call. 50/50 Hunt/Kamara IMO. Hunt has been really good the last 3 weeks

How many picks do we have for next draft as of now? Aren’t we missing a 2nd, and shuffled around some late picks

I feel you, but AK’s numbers are more impressive and he’s been more consistent throughout the entire year (although that might not be entirely Hunt’s fault).

Being a talent evaluator is one thing but you do realize that the NFL draft is mostly a crap shoot right?

I mean the scouts do their best but it's a gamble with every pick. Last year's draft was also one of the deepest in memory. Tons of future studs from last year and 2016 as well. This year won't be as stacked.

But we can still come away with some good players. If we can do that at positions of need (LB-athletic ones, TE, SS, etc.) and we will be good to go

We have an extra 5 and 6 (if Peterson trade is right). But no 2nd due to Kamara, but man oh man did that trade pay off.

I think the consensus is Kamara by a hair right now. Hunt disappeared for what, 5 weeks there?

Playoff output will determine a lot of that too.

Hunt started off hot then had a rough stretch. But lately he has been on fire again. It’s going to be a really close vote

Surprised Cam Jordan didn't get a single vote for D player of the year.

He shouldn’t get any love for mvp. His td numbers are very low. Sure he’s been accurate but he’s been essentially the best game manager in the league this year if you’re looking at it objectively. Doesn’t make me any less happy he’s our qb.
