Because I've watched them both play. A lot. Jerkoff.

And what’s your assertion?

Dobbins just doesn't seem to see the field the same way Swift does. His running style is tighter/ more north and south. Similar speed. Swift has great vision and is very fluid in the passing game. Dobbins is a good back .. I'm not trying to shite on him but Swift was just on a different level. I'm no scout but after seeing them both play I would take Swift 10 times out of 10.

If we are still heavily leaning WR then I want Mims or Aiyuk.
Still, you would think they would wait considering the depth of the position and other needs

Because I think Taylor is the best and many others think CEH is RB1. Just weird to read 10 out of 10 declarations because there really isn’t a consensus by industry heads

I like Taylor a lot too.
I'd rank them Swift , Taylor , Dobbins, Helaire. 3&4 could be flip flopped depending on their intended usage. Personally I'd rather have Clyde on the Saints than Dobbins. I'm no expert though. Just my two cents.

I’d love Taylor but I doubt we spend a first on a RB

What do you like most about Mims?
Posted on 4/17/20 at 3:03 pm to BenDover78
Mainly that he’s big and fast and would be big for us in the red zone. He’s good at high pointing and coming down with those one on one catches. He’s just not a very polished route runner and is kind of inconsistent.
Aiyuk is a little more consistent, just not as big or as fast but still has some of the best RAC ability of any of the WRs in this class.
Mims has talked to the Eagles like 4-5 times. They could go him over Jefferson. I think the board would flip their shite it Jefferson fell to us.

I'm with you . I'd even move up for Jefferson a few spots if it didn't cost us a fortune. Every mock has Philly scooping him up at 21.

What's the DT class looking like ? Big dropoff after Brown and Kinlaw? I've been hearing some buzz on blacklock out of TCU in the first.
Posted on 4/17/20 at 7:19 pm to jkylejohnson
I think it’s a pretty big drop off from those two.
I think there’s a lot of untapped potential from Raekwon Davis. Mississippi Boy. He’s a giant too. 49ers have been all over him. We’re just so deep at DT that I don’t think we take anything more than a flier on one

He was recruited by LSU, Alabama, and Texas A&M coming out of high school.
only played 2 full seasons at TCU due to injury.
TCU runs a lot of stunts and he was highly productive due to that. Quick for a big guy so that scheme helped him out a lot?

There’s a sweet spot for DT from about pick 25 down to pick 50. If the saints were set to take a DT a trade down could make sense. shite, lotta places have Kinlaw falling
Blaclock
Jordan Elliott for mizzou
Marlon Davidson can play inside and out, watch him
Madabuike from A&M
Neville Gallimore (saints like Canadian DTs amirite)
Tbh the 2nd rd is loaded this year. Need to trade down

oh yeah I know. I saw a handful of Auburn games this past year.
Really good against the run.
pass rush leaves a lot to be desired.
you are correct he lined up all over the place.
has a good rip move.
a four year starter.

Def better inside. Had more total pressures than Brown, which surprised me. I’ve seen him mocked everywhere from 20s to the 60s

another opinion on Davidson.
I think his D-line coach at Auburn is more of a recruiter and not as gifted as a talent elevator.
Should he land with the right staff he could develop into a solid pro?
