There are several insider types saying Austin Jackson will go higher than anybody had previously suspected.

I’m starting to think this is smoke. I was watching some clips on Austin Jackson and man is he raw. I mean he has some athleticism but there wasn’t a single clip where I felt like he was worthy of a first round. He might turn out to be a stud but I can’t see him being ready for at least a year if not two. He is rawer than Peat was coming out of Stanford. Josh Jones looks like a much better and safer prospect. His film was much more encouraging to me.

I wouldn't mind a slight trade up this year if we feel really good about someone. . I just hated last year's draft with no first rounder.

We didn’t have a first round pick last year but we picked up a first round talent. Erik McCoy last year was a much better prospect than Cesar Ruiz is this year.

I think we should start a new thread for the actual draft.

Anyone disagree?

Davion Taylor, LB Colorado is a guy to look for. Under the radar LB who can flat fly- 4.49 40 time and can cover sideline to sideline.

Would be a solid choice.

The only prediction that I got right in 34 years was Lattimore, which was easy because he was the 1st CB on the board... The other 33 years? Negative.

Wait-this is Carlos Zuniga's son??? No kidding...he was an absolute prime-time stud at HC (I think two years ahead of me) on a very good Don Maestri coached basketball team (that coincidentally also had the son of the guy UNO's Lakefront Arena is named after).
