I don’t get the hate for this kid. He is incredible at avoiding pressure, and usually looks to pass even after avoiding pressure before running.

His completion percentage isn’t great, but I read some scouting stuff that said that offense throws the ball down the field, and his percentage would be like high 60’s without all the drops they had, He didn’t play in that kind of offense that made Colt McCoy seem like the best qb ever.

You can talk about his accuracy, but Dashaun Watson was a turnover machine. Sam Darnold this year is as well. Josh Allen had a horrible completion percentage. But with this guy, who clearly has the skills to be a qb, teams want him to switch to wr, even though no one knows if he can catch a football. I know for a fact he can throw one pretty good.

Have you heard Eli Manning speak? What does it matter? The offense he played in wasn’t some OK State garbage.

Just a bunch of rednecks in here who cringe at the idea of a black QB. Watson was lighting up the NFL and Jackson wasn’t near as turnover prone as he was in college and is a better runner. Yet Jackson is garbage. I’m not sitting here saying he’s gonna be the next big thing but man Darnold and Allen sucked arse this year and no one has anything but praise for them.

What if the Browns take Darnold and Rosen in the 1st? And then trade the one that isnt as good.

So they could end up with either Barkley or Bradley Chubb along with one of the qb’s, or draft two qb’s and trade the bad one later for nothing close to as good as Barkley or Chubb?

Don't want a projected WR backing up Drew

To be fair, we currently have a ST gunner as Drew's backup, so Jackson might be an upgrade.

Most people on this board don't watch film. They just hear the narrative the media(who also don't watch film) spews and run with it. The main one being "he can't play QB/ HAS to switch positions" I'd love to have Jackson. He can be the best QB out of this draft once we look back.

You dumbass.

One reason I and may others here hate the pick is because we went 11-5 last season and are trying to put the pieces together for a championship run this season. Drafting a QB in the first round (especially since we don’t have a 2nd round pick) means we are looking ahead instead of right now.

Please show me where a thread where most people here or this entire site are praising Darnold or especially Allen. Pretty sure most people expect both, especially Allen, to be busts.

If that's the pick, I cannot wait to see the absolute melt on this site.

Because I've got a strong feeling that depending on who is or isn't available, Jackson could be the guy we take.
